cá por casa # here at home

She's better but still not going to kindergarten. Lost delivery of diplomas, the tour of the end of the year and probably the first week of beach. She's very upset with this, but plays arround here at home. She discouverder this puppet at the bottom of the chest.

Tenho novidades no catálogo! São os meus primeiros ímanes de frigorífico.
I have news in the catalogue! These are my first of refrigerator magnets.

And this is the perfect pretext to continue showing you the handicrafts of M., which I started in this, this and this posts. She got inspired and also wanted to paint springs.

It did not take long for the paintings to get to the book of Disney Princess.
But this was a few days ago. Today, with the disease finally declared (seems to be one more tonsillitis), we continued with paintings and she was able to try a new technique and materials: wax pencil watercolor. She drawn quite a lot, everything she saw on a school trip to the Piaget Institute at the beginning of the month. Only now she felt like drawing about the exibishion that she loved: "The Evolution of Humanity". Apparently, so was I told by the educators, M. was the "star of the company"! She knew everything, from cave men and their way of life; the Egyptians and their buildings; etc. ... She talks a lot! :) She even was asked to help with the explanations, by the guide of exibition!

Just the other weekend, she surprised me and a dear visit that we had here at home, with this snack. Preparing snacks on trays has become one of her favorite hobbies! :) Yesterday, even a bit sick, she prepared biscuits "MARIA" with butter and others with "Tulicreme" for me and for the father.
Here in detail the "face" which she made with fruit.

Obrigada amiga!
Do you remember that callenge I launched? Following this challenge I sent some little presents to Andie, who was the winner. And, just because she's a dear, she also decided to send me a surprise gift. Well, for M.! She loved it Andie, she doesn't want to take it off for nothing and I'm superhappy to see her all happy. Thank you my friend!

This was what I sent her: (a handmade postcard, a pair of earings and a mini-soap)

And this the necklace I received (on this wonderful bag):

Now a tip:
Why not transform the old umbrellas into very nice shopping bags?
See how, here!

Agradecimentos:

Congratulations to our Selection!

A M. não gosta de ver futebol. Compreendo-a perfeitamente!
M. does not like to see football. I understand it perfectly! For a child as active as she is, it is very monotonous to always see the same green background on TV with some little men running arround. She preferred this green background: of the Sim's.

But... changing the subject, I was to show you some more work of M., wasn't I? So here it is.

Almost everything done by M. itself.
Above: Pony with french painter hat and brush, all done with paper and glue tape. The Pony Princess which is in the two photos, with the crown of Barbie and the Magic Pegasus.
Below: Two ponies with ties and a pony mascarated as Santa Claus, with paper, glue tape and white cotton.

She mascarated ponies, inspired by this little book that has everything to do with her (show, stage, ponies ...).

Mais manualidades da M. brevemente!

cano = esófago # pipe = oesophagus

:) Enfim... espertalhices!!!
According to M., we have a "pipe" inside of our body, which goes from our mouth until the stomach. And yesterday at night, hers "tasted like" coca-cola! It was her way of telling me that she was thirsty, but of coca-cola. :) Anyway... smart girl!

Brevemente aqui no Bom Feeling. Não percam!
She has been at home, with me, in this beginning of the week. She was a little feverish and stayed as prevention. Then, we have been doing a lot of handicrafts. Don't miss!

Set entirely done by M.. She follows the examples of the mother.
Conversation between me and the husband:
Him: She makes everything that you make. She likes everything that you like.
I: Not only! She likes everything! Mainly everything that has to do with art.
Him: Yeah!... So do you.
I: Yes!... You're right.
I am very proud about that but I know that is mainly because these things are very attractive to children. Not just for girls but also for boys. Yet for most, with the materials here all arround her...

prenda # gift

There was a challenge on the blog Ars Gratia Artis. I did not get it rught properly, but Cláudia is so generous that resolved to reward a lot of people. Therefor, she nicely distributed gifts. She had a lot of work and sent a super well done present to all the lucky ones. I was one of them and I am very happy. I love the picture, it is a detail of refinement that it already came framed. I also received a praying "terço" of rose wood, beautiful, which I will keep with great affection. And a peace of wool that will certainly give life to various projects. And as if that was not enough, Cláudia sent a bunch of postcards and brochures to show the beautiful region where she lives.

And in a day of thanks I can not forget two more.

"lengadengas"

Chama-lhes "lengadengas"! :) A mim nunca me passou este gosto. Continuo fascinada por elas. Vou certamente inspirar-me nele para mais algumas t-shirts.
When I tell her that I went to the library, she runs looking for the books that I brought. So I just told her after the bath, otherwise she wouldn't want to get into the bathtube. She already knew this book from school. It is one of the elected by the educator. I know that she loves this stories (lengalengas). I think that it is common in her age. Children like rhymes. She calls them "lengadengas"! :) I remain fascinated by them. They will certainly inspire me for a few more t-shirts

Birthday celebrated with a tooth ache. Didn't even went out for dinner! I left home, driven for about two kilometres and I returned home in the nearest traffic light. The pain goes away for a while but then comes again with no warning. One more party with a illness! :(
I thank everyone who congratulated me for my birthday. You are always a pleasent surprise! And I offer you a peace of cake.

Bento is the typical dreamer, for whom anything serves as a reason to embark on an imaginary adventure. Distracted, lunatic, Bento lives in his little world. His mother, realizing this, has to go into his world to contact him and call him to reality. Bento must arrive on time to his flute lesson. And there goes the boy running and jumping on the way out. But he will have to cross the forest of Fontanela. What better excuse to embark on another adventure? The boy becomes the fearless captain Tortonhoc, who fight fiercely 'till victory with frightening beings: the tiraniões. In the midst of rolling on the ground, Bento remembers to continue his path. But, putting his hand in the pocket notes that does not have the money to pay for the lesson. What will he tell his parents? What will they say? And moreover, is that Bento is now even more late! :( Our hero used the rest of the way to reflect on issues such as responsibility. But Susana, the professor of flute, is even more distracted than him and not only has not noted the delay, but didn't even asked him for the money. The returning home was again passed reflecting on this issues. But when he got home his mother told him that she hasn't gave him the money, because she had paid the teacher in advance. Bento was relieved, but the lesson was learned: board the imaginary world is fantastic, but we must take some responsibility! This collection has the peculiarity of beeing written with handwritten letter to facilitate the reading of the youngest. But it is funny that the first reaction of M. to that was negative. Only with some insistence she accepted that I'd read it to her, but then she loved it. Must hae identified with Bento, Head of Wind! :) It's funny how, at least with children, the expression "judge a book by its cover" is so literal and makes sense. In addition, I also brought from the library a book about the life of Picasso. I liked the illustrations, but didn't find them brilliant thought. M. inspected it, as she always do, and put it aside immediately. I asked her if she had not like that book. - I do, but it seems a bit "dull"! Indeed the writing was "dull" and we did not finish reading.

A message:
Writers of children's books (only for some): You can teach general culture to children with fun! Do not try to do it with massive texts, because it does not work. It would be, perhaps, more interesting than to write all dates, to describe the environment with appealing language to the target audience. It is only my opinion!
